Construction Update – July 2025

Construction has been progressing throughout Ashbury, working to deliver additional amenity to the residents and the wider community.

Horseshoe Bend Road Intersection

Works nearing completion with the temporary roundabout currently in place.

Electrical connection for the traffic lights occurred early July 2025, with the full opening of the intersection expected in the coming month.

Stage 32

Civil works contract now awarded, with works commencing soon.

Initial works will involve removal of the existing stockpiled material and earthworks.

Construction of this stage is expected to be completed late Q1 in 2026.

Active Open Space

Works continuing, with the final establishment of the grass ongoing before handover to Council.

This is expected to occur Q3 2025.

In the Months Ahead

Finalisation of the Active Open space with the establishment of grass over the open space and completion of the perimeter fencing.
Full opening of the Horseshoe Bend Road / Boundary Road intersection and activation of the traffic signals.
Construction progression of Stage 32, with completion of earthworks and commencement of road and service installation.
