Next door: Armstrong Creek Sports Centre
The new Armstrong Creek Sports Centre is under construction next door to Ashbury.
The list of public amenities for Armstrong Creek and Ashbury residents keeps growing.
Residents will be able to walk to the multipurpose recreational facility under construction across Barwarre Road on Ashbury’s western boundary, due to be completed by late 2026.
The sports centre is designed to cater to a variety of sports and community activities.
- Four multi-sport courts suitable for basketball, netball, volleyball, and other indoor sports.
- A café and gathering area, changing facilities, and a sensory room to accommodate diverse community needs.
- A civic plaza featuring outdoor basketball and netball hoops, areas for skating and parkour, informal and nature play spaces, table tennis tables, and a large, landscaped lawn suitable for hosting community events.
