Come and Sea Ashbury's Newest Park

We're excited to kick off the new year with a community event to celebrate the opening of Ashbury's newest park! 

'Come and Sea' the new Ashbury playground and reserve, with lots of fun activities planned for a delightful summer afternoon.

This event is FREE to attend and open to everyone, so bring your family, friends, and neighbours and join us for an afternoon of underwater-themed fun, or relax on a deck chair with an ice cream as you take it all in!

Time: 4pm to 7pm 
Location: Ashbury Boulevard Reserve & Playground 
 

ENTRY 
Entry is free, but please register your details here, to assist with managing crowd numbers. 

RIDES 
There's going to be heaps to keep the kids busy, with FREE rides including a giant slide and a mini pirate ship ride!  

UNDERWATER FUN 
Come and Sea the underwater theme marquee, and pop on some headphones and get moving at our silent disco! If dancing isn't your thing, you'll also get to meet a mermaid and pose for a photo with her, while roving jellyfish and sea horses wander around. Make sure you also keep an eye out for the Bubble Pirates and the Sea Creature on Stilts!

To fully immerse yourself in the seaworld experience, there's also underwater face painting, sea-themed crafts, with sand art or seashell painting.

FOOD TRUCKS 
We've orgaised food vans with yummy pizza, ice cream, and snow cones available for purchase. You can also support your local CFA with a gold coin donation at their sausage sizzle. 

CHILL OUT ZONE & LAWN GAMES
There'll be a chill-out zone for those who want to grab some ice-cream and relax on deck chair under an umbrella. If you're feeling competitive, challenge a friend or neighbor with a round of lawn games!
