Neighbourhood Watch - Safe Plates Event

Neighbourhood Watch - Safe Plates Event

February 2025 | Events & Local Area

As part of our ongoing partnership with Neighbourhood Watch, we've organised a Safe Plates event for Ashbury residents.

Residents can get FREE one-way, anti-theft screws to protect their car license plates. By using anti-theft screws, it takes thieves more time to take the license plates off, which increases the risk of the crook being caught.

Thieves often steal car plates to use them on other vehicles to commit crimes. If your car plates are stolen, you have to report the theft to Victoria Police and VicRoads and arrange for new plates. This means additional costs incurred by you, as well as time and effort in replacing your rego details with insurance, roadside assistance and other entities.

  • Date - Saturday 1st March 2025
  • Time - 10.30am-12.30pm
  • Location - Ashbury Northern Reserve, Cnr of Trundle Drive & Ashbury Boulevard

At this event,  you  can also chat to the friendly Neighbourhood Watch team on how you can keep your community safe.
