SuperCats Interview

What makes a home and a community by Geelong SuperCats Superstar, Alex Bunton

We sat down with Alex Bunton, Geelong SuperCats star to discuss her house, community and what she looks for in an area.

Q - What is the most important thing to you about living in community like the one being created at Ashbury Estate?

Alex - For me, the most important this is having a safe, clean, friendly area that is close to schools and public transport.

Q - How did you choose the community that you are currently living in? What makes it unique?

Alex - It was highly convenient to my lifestyle and had the unique offering of a golf course, which I am thrilled by.

Q - How would you describe your house design?

Alex - I would say that it is the perfect mix of modern, but practical for a family.

Q - Did you build your home or buy an existing house? How did you decide whether to buy the land and build or buy an existing home?

Alex - We bought an existing home, but it was perfect for us and had everything that we could have wanted and needed.

Q - What is your favourite room in your house and why?

Alex - Definitely the dining area. It is very open and spacious with lots of light. The perfect room for family dinners.

Q - What is your top tip to making a house feel like a home?

Alex - Ensure that the furniture suit your personality and style. I’ve reflected my style through unique artwork and furniture.

Q - What do you think are some of the advantages of living around Geelong and the Surf Coast?

Alex - We don’t need to travel far in order to get around. We’re close to the beach and close to the city. Not to mention the amazing cafes and community spirit.

Q - What amenities do you think are important in new communities?

Alex - Parks and outdoor areas are essential. I would also say having access to local shops, public transport as well as schools.
